About the Author

A Life in Stories

Keith David Cooley grew up in England and holds a degree from the University of Nottingham. In 1977 — before the Islamic revolution in Iran and before the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan — he travelled through Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, India and Pakistan.

He is a member of the San Francisco LaborFest Writing Group and has performed as a storyteller throughout the Bay Area. He lives in an old Spanish Revival apartment within earshot of the Golden Gate Bridge foghorns, and maintains a home in England.
